I am David Van Wagoner. I live in Salt Lake City and I have spent twenty years in food and beverage, starting behind an espresso machine and ending up running operations.

I know what a Tuesday looks like when the delivery is short, two people called out, and there is an aging report you have not opened in three weeks. I have been the person who has to make the invoice call and I have put it off exactly as long as you do.

In 2026 Anthropic shipped a set of pre-built AI workflows for small businesses. They are genuinely good and they are genuinely inaccessible, because getting them running means connecting five accounts and knowing what to tell them about your business. Most owners will never get past the first screen. So I install them, tune them to how you actually operate, and teach you to run them.

I also build software. Houndtrust is a platform I am building for independent dog care professionals, which means when I say I understand what it takes to ship and support a system, I am speaking from the inside of one.

I am independent. I am not an Anthropic partner, reseller, or affiliate, and I will never tell you I am. What I sell is installation, judgment, and the training to make me unnecessary. When you would rather not think about it, I am the AI person you keep on call, not on payroll.
